Frequently Asked Questions
What is the TGA Virtual Assistant (VA) Readiness Certification?
The TGA VA Certification verifies that a candidate has demonstrated the professional judgment, execution standards, and decision-making required for real client work. Certification is based on evaluation performance, not course participation.
Is enrollment in the VA Certification Program free?
Yes. Enrollment in the VA Certification Program is free. Candidates may review learning resources and explore readiness expectations without cost.
What do I pay for?
Payment is required only for evaluation and credentialing. Each VA Certification Exam costs $5 USD, which covers manual review, rubric-based evaluation, and credential issuance where applicable.
How do I earn the full VA Certification?
To earn the TGA VA Certification, candidates must successfully complete all five required VA Certification Exams. Certification is not awarded for partial completion.
How many VA Certification Exams are required?
There are five (5) required VA Certification Exams. Each exam evaluates a distinct readiness area and is completed and evaluated independently.
Can I earn certification by passing only some of the exams?
No. The full VA Certification is awarded only after all five VA Certification Exams are passed.
What does each VA Certification Exam include?
Each exam has two required components: (1) A Written Readiness Exam — 5 scenario-based multiple choice questions, open-resource and judgment-focused; and (2) A Capstone Evaluation — a realtime scenario assessment aligned to the exam domain, requiring structured written responses reviewed by the TGA team. Both components must be passed to successfully complete an exam.
Are these exams "tests" or "courses"?
VA Certification Exams are evaluations, not traditional courses. They exist solely to assess readiness. Learning resources may be used for reference but do not influence evaluation outcomes.
How many attempts do I get per exam?
Each VA Certification Exam includes up to three (3) attempts to achieve a passing result. Attempts are tracked per exam.
If I fail one exam, do I have to redo the others?
No. Each VA Certification Exam is evaluated independently. Failing or retaking one exam does not affect the status of previously passed exams.
Is partial credit awarded?
No. All VA Certification Exams and Capstone Evaluations are scored on a Pass / Fail basis only. No partial credit is awarded.
How long does evaluation take?
Evaluation timelines may vary, but most submissions are reviewed within the stated evaluation window shown at purchase. All submissions are manually reviewed using standardized rubrics.
Will I receive feedback if I do not pass?
Yes. Candidates receive structured feedback aligned to the evaluation rubric to support improvement on subsequent attempts.
Does completing the exams guarantee work or placement?
No. The VA Certification verifies readiness standards only. It does not guarantee job placement, client assignment, or employment.
Can I use AI tools during the exams?
Yes, where appropriate. However, candidates are responsible for verification, judgment, and final output quality. Reliance on unverified AI output may result in failure.
Is the certification permanent?
Certification validity and renewal requirements, if any, are defined by TGA policy and may be updated as professional standards evolve.
Who issues the certification?
The VA Certification is issued by Tanta Global Academy (TGA) after successful completion of all required evaluations.
Who should take this certification?
This certification is designed for individuals seeking to demonstrate readiness for professional, client-facing Virtual Assistant work in distributed and remote environments.
